Every October, the LindeNOW – Art Space Festival in Leipzig’s West takes place. Contemporary art is presented at around 50 venues in Lindenau, Plagwitz and Leutzsch. During the festival days, all exhibitions are free to visit. The LindeNOW festival represents an important part of Leipzig’s art scene: off-spaces, artist-run spaces, art associations, project spaces and other temporary exhibition venues, as well as the many independent artists who bring these spaces to life with exhibitions.
