Every year in October, the LindeNOW – Art Space Festival takes place in western Leipzig. Contemporary art is presented at around 50 venues in Lindenau, Plagwitz, and Leutzsch. All exhibitions are free of charge during the festival days.
The LindeNOW Festival represents an important part of Leipzig’s cultural scene: off-spaces, artist-run spaces, art associations, project spaces, and other temporary exhibition venues, as well as the many independent artists who present exhibitions at these locations.
