How to work tog¬≠e¬≠ther in self-orga¬≠nis¬≠ed groups? What inner pro¬≠ces¬≠ses, values and chan¬≠ges a group has to deal with? Are self-orga¬≠nis¬≠ed groups able to gain sustai¬≠na¬≠bi¬≠li¬≠ty? Constanze M√ľller, German cura¬≠tor and pedago¬≠gue, will lead an inter¬≠di¬≠sci¬≠pli¬≠na¬≠ry work¬≠shop ques¬≠tio¬≠ning and prac¬≠tising methods of self-orga¬≠ni¬≠sa¬≠ti¬≠on. Members of D21 Kunstraum Leipzig, the artist Anne Kr√∂nker and par¬≠ti¬≠ci¬≠pants from Moscow are invi¬≠ted and wel¬≠co¬≠med to par¬≠ti¬≠ci¬≠pa¬≠te. Over the cour¬≠se of days, the group will form a tem¬≠pora¬≠ry com¬≠mu¬≠ni¬≠ty to dis¬≠cuss ques¬≠ti¬≠ons on self-orga¬≠ni¬≠sa¬≠ti¬≠on, inner pro¬≠ces¬≠ses, values and chan¬≠ges a group has to deal with, and ques¬≠ti¬≠ons of sustai¬≠na¬≠bi¬≠li¬≠ty. The aim is to exchan¬≠ge expe¬≠ri¬≠en¬≠ces as well as to crea¬≠te ide¬≠as and solu¬≠ti¬≠ons.
The work¬≠shop is part of the exhi¬≠bi¬≠ti¬≠on Based on These New Dependencies, We Define Five Normal Forms (16.05 ‚ÄĒ 26.08.2018) cura¬≠ted by D21 Kunstraum, a non-pro¬≠fit space for con¬≠tem¬≠pora¬≠ry art in Leipzig, and in par¬≠ti¬≠cu¬≠lar, a plat¬≠form for topics rele¬≠vant to socie¬≠ty to be com¬≠mu¬≠ni¬≠ca¬≠ted and dis¬≠cus¬≠sed through the medi¬≠um of art. D21 has been invi¬≠ted by the Goethe Institute and MMOMA to cura¬≠te an exhi¬≠bi¬≠ti¬≠on that reflec¬≠ts their own orga¬≠ni¬≠sa¬≠tio¬≠nal situa¬≠ti¬≠on: D21 is admi¬≠nis¬≠te¬≠red by a self-orga¬≠ni¬≠zed asso¬≠cia¬≠ti¬≠on of vol¬≠un¬≠te¬≠ers. The exhi¬≠bi¬≠ti¬≠on reflec¬≠ts and nud¬≠ges the evo¬≠lu¬≠ti¬≠on of soci¬≠al rela¬≠ti¬≠ons¬≠hips, arti¬≠cu¬≠la¬≠ting unar¬≠ti¬≠cu¬≠la¬≠ted desi¬≠res towards new rela¬≠ti¬≠ons, and fos¬≠te¬≠ring pro¬≠po¬≠si¬≠ti¬≠ons about how we can live tog¬≠e¬≠ther. Looking back to the his¬≠to¬≠ric Proletkult move¬≠ment, the exhi¬≠bi¬≠ti¬≠on and the accom¬≠pany¬≠ing pro¬≠gram of per¬≠for¬≠man¬≠ces, lec¬≠tures, rea¬≠dings and work¬≠shops open a pro¬≠ces¬≠su¬≠al, par¬≠ti¬≠ci¬≠pato¬≠ry pro¬≠ject.
