“Disruptive Structures” uses four artistic positions to question power structures on a political, social and societal level. All works reveal learned patterns of power perpetuation that are passed down through generations and establish certain narratives. Based on the examination of current and historical events and their significance for the present, the works also negotiate utopian potential in different ways by uncovering existing structures, questioning dominant narratives and strengthening marginalized voices.
