Opening D21/Solo #Carolina Pérez Pallares

In her solo exhi­bi­ti­on, the Leipzig-based artist Carolina Pérez Pallares explo­res the paths of her own life sto­ry across two con­ti­nents. In her artis­tic prac­ti­ce, she libe­ra­tes colour and mate­ri­al from their tra­di­tio­nal asso­cia­ti­on with the can­vas and trans­forms them into lar­ge-sca­le instal­la­ti­ons, per­for­man­ces and deli­ca­te arran­ge­ments, through which she makes sub­jec­ti­ve expe­ri­en­ces of ali­en­ati­on and boun­da­ry-crossing tangible.
