What is hap¬≠pe¬≠ning today, chan¬≠ges what is about to come tomor¬≠row. Fragilities deter¬≠mi¬≠ne ever¬≠y¬≠day life, resi¬≠li¬≠en¬≠ce is requi¬≠red, lon¬≠gings build a uto¬≠pia of future coexis¬≠tence. What is a norm to some, is an excep¬≠ti¬≠on to others. A sta¬≠te of emer¬≠gen¬≠cy implies that the¬≠re is a cri¬≠sis. Who bene¬≠fits from unsafe con¬≠di¬≠ti¬≠ons? Who does care work? Which pos¬≠si¬≠bi¬≠li¬≠ties of par¬≠ti¬≠ci¬≠pa¬≠ti¬≠on are the¬≠re? Which oppor¬≠tu¬≠nities can be found in tho¬≠se excep¬≠tio¬≠nal sta¬≠tes and how can they be made use of?

The annual theme 2022 takes a look at the crises and opportunities of our time. After two years of pandemic, and in the face of numerous political, global conflicts as well as the ongoing climate crisis we would like to grant visibility to the dissonances of our time. We believe that, above all, crises can be overcome through mutual exchange. For this reason, this year we are focusing on projects with understanding, participation and mediation at their core. We cordially invite you to be visitors and participants of different formats such as exhibitions, screenings, lectures, discussions and workshops
